Hear from our Graduates

Karen Campos decided to return to school to pursue better opportunities and a higher earning potential. After working for 7 years at a medical clinic, she enrolled in the Administrative Medical Assistant program at Milan Institute in Palm Desert to advance her career.

Karen describes her experience at Milan as great and says it exceeded her expectations for an online program. One of her initial challenges was balancing homework and studying, but by becoming more organized and planning, she successfully stayed on track.

Today, Karen works at a urology clinic in El Centro, California, where she continues to learn and apply her experience across different clinical settings. Looking ahead, her goal is to work as a medical coder and make full use of her education.

Her advice to future students is practical and encouraging: “Be organized and always have a plan.”
