Ta Tieonia Walker – Nail Technician Graduate, Las Vegas

Ta Tieonia Walker decided to return to school for a career change and enrolled in the Nail Technician program at Milan Institute in Las Vegas. She describes her experience as good and focused on making the most of every learning opportunity.

During the program, Ta Tieonia earned multiple awards for her hard work, which became one of her favorite memories from her time at Milan. She encourages students to stay engaged by requesting demos, taking notes, and focusing on learning as much as possible.

Today, Ta Tieonia is employed at The Nail Buzz in downtown Container Park in Las Vegas, where she continues to grow her skills in a salon setting. Her future goals include learning as much as she can, opening her own suite, and eventually owning her own salon.

Her advice to future students is simple and motivating: “Just do it.”
