Marissa Routh

Marissa Routh decided to enroll in the Medical Assisting program at Milan Institute after realizing she wanted more from life and a career she could truly be proud of. After hearing a Milan ad on the radio and scheduling a tour, she took a leap that she says changed her life for the better.

Marissa describes her experience as extremely positive, crediting her instructor for encouraging growth, excitement, and focus throughout the program. She especially enjoyed lab days, where hands-on skill practice helped prepare her for real-world work in the medical field. Today, Marissa works at FMC Health in Canyon, where she is establishing her future in a doctor’s office doing a job she loves.

Her advice to future students is powerful and heartfelt: “Don’t give up. Your hard work does pay off—give it your all, and it will be worth it in the end.”
