Jennifer Alvarez
Jennifer Alvarez decided to return to school for one important reason—her son. Wanting to be a better example and create a better future for herself and her family, she enrolled in the Medical Assisting program at Milan Institute in Merced after feeling unfulfilled in her previous job.
Jennifer especially appreciated how hands-on and experience-driven the program was. Although she initially had a fear of needles, the in-class training and practice giving injections helped her overcome that challenge and build confidence in her skills.
Today, Jennifer works at Timothy Johnston and Associates, where she continues to grow in the medical field. Looking ahead, she hopes to return to school to become an LVN and continue advancing her career.
Her journey is a reminder that personal motivation, support, and hands-on training can lead to meaningful change and new opportunities.
