Jazmin Juarez

Jazmin Juarez didn’t want to repeat the struggles she saw growing up—so right after high school, she chose to take control of her future.

Through the Medical Assisting program at Milan Institute in Amarillo, which she completed on July 10, 2025, Jazmin made new friends and gained knowledge she never expected, especially in medication training. The biggest challenge? Staying on top of assignments during busy weeks—but she pushed through.

Now working at GI Alliance in Amarillo, Jazmin plans to continue her nursing journey.

Her advice: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions, and be ready to step outside your comfort zone—especially in the clinic.”
