Frances Farmer

Frances Farmer – Administrative Medical Assistant Graduate, Amarillo

Frances Farmer decided to return to school to better herself and take pride in doing meaningful work. She enrolled in the Administrative Medical Assistant program at Milan Institute in Amarillo, determined to succeed.

Frances describes her experience at Milan as amazing and credits her instructor, April Miner, along with the supportive staff and classmates, for helping her stay motivated. When she didn’t understand an assignment, she asked for help and kept pushing forward instead of giving up.

Today, Frances works at the Amarillo Colonoscopy Center, where she continues building her career in healthcare. Her long-term goal is to retire from her dream job in oncology.

Her advice to future students is encouraging and straightforward: “Don’t give up. Stay positive and always ask for help.”
