Cathy Chavez

Cathy Chavez chose to enroll in the Massage Therapy program at Milan Institute to further her education and challenge herself in a completely new way. While completing computer training for blind individuals, Cathy embraced the experience with determination and an open mind.

Her journey was not without obstacles. Navigating the campus and training spaces required daily perseverance, but Cathy remained focused and committed to her goals. She describes the program as an enlightening experience—one that allowed her to grow, learn, and conquer Massage Therapy through hard work and resilience.

Today, Cathy operates her own business, Mobile Massage “Blindness Touch,” and is proud to be doing work she’s passionate about. Her ultimate goal is to continue growing her business and serving others through massage therapy.

Her advice to future students is meaningful and encouraging: “Remember, success is not easy. It requires hard work and determination, but eventually you will get to your destination.”
