Hear from our Graduates

Emma Rodriguez – Dental Assistant Graduate, Amarillo

Emma Rodriguez enrolled in the Dental Assistant program at Milan Institute because she wanted the qualifications needed for a good, stable job. Her goal was to gain the skills and confidence to enter the dental field prepared.

Emma describes her experience as positive overall, noting that while some material felt repetitive, it helped reinforce her learning. One of her biggest challenges was communication, but she worked through it and continued moving forward. Her favorite moment from the program was graduation—walking down the hallway and celebrating the accomplishment of finishing school.

Today, Emma works at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics in Amarillo, where she plans to continue building her experience for the next few years before exploring new opportunities.

Her advice to future students is straightforward and practical: “Study hard, get your work done, show up to class, and keep a good attitude.”
