In 2025, the school refreshed its campus, expanded its programs, and crossed an exciting benchmark — 1,000 Google reviews. This direction reflects the passion and care that students and staff bring to their work every day.
Campus Director Bianca Mendiola shared her excitement for what her team has accomplished. “Today we celebrate 40 years of the Milan Institute of Cosmetology. Our South Side campus continues to prove that small but mighty leads the way,” she said. “Every effort, every long day, and every smile shared has built this milestone. You’ve shown what happens when passion meets purpose.”
The Milan Institute San Antonio South campus has also been making waves beyond the classroom. The team has shown its commitment to connecting with San Antonio’s South Side by appearing on a podcast and multiple community outreach events.
Ribbon Cutting and Trunk-or-Treat Event
To commemorate the 40th anniversary, the campus also hosted a ribbon-cutting event in partnership with the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together staff, students, alumni, and community partners to recognize Milan’s continued dedication to career education and community engagement.
After the ribbon cutting, students were encouraged to bring their children to a trunk-or-treat event.
