Milan Institute of Cosmetology celebrated 40 years of career education with a fun and festive Open House at its Reno campus on Thursday, October 30. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a costume contest, and special salon promotions, bringing together students, staff, and the community.
“Today we recognized an incredible achievement—40 incredible years!” said Robin Walsh, Campus Director at Milan Institute Reno. “We combined creative and lively festivities with a ribbon-cutting to celebrate what we have done together. Over the last few years, we’ve built a campus we’re truly proud of. Our culture is rooted in teamwork, passion, and a shared commitment to excellence. Together, we’ve become one of the most recognized and sought-after career schools in Nevada, and that’s something to celebrate.”
The Reno campus offers Cosmetology and Nail Tech programs that prepare students for hands-on careers in the beauty industry. Guests at the event toured classrooms and the student salon, where current students demonstrated their skills through discounted beauty and nail services.
