Milan Institute in Las Vegas proudly announces that its Student Salon won GOLD (First Place) in both the Beauty Salon and Hair Salon categories at the 2025 FOX5 Las Vegas Viewer’s Choice Awards. The community selected the winners through an online poll that ended July 20, and FOX5 Las Vegas announced the results on July 28.
Milan Institute consistently trains future beauty and health professionals with dedication and passion. Currently, more than 250 students enroll in specialized programs for hair, skin, and nail care. Notably, these student professionals provide high-quality salon services under instructor supervision, serving clients throughout Las Vegas.
Campus director Melissa Martinez shared the excitement of this achievement.
“We’re thrilled to announce that we were nominated and selected by Las Vegas residents for this prestigious recognition,” said Melissa. “The recognition from Fox 5 and the Las Vegas community means everything to us. It shows our students that with hard work and dedication, their efforts will be rewarded.
At Milan Institute, students receive hands-on instruction in cosmetology, nail technology, and esthetics. Besides technical training, they also learn essential business and marketing skills, preparing them for successful careers in the industry.
“Awards from the community help set them up for success once they become professionals in their fields,” said Melissa. “Our students inspire me every day.”
