As of September 2025, Milan Institute has assisted over 360 students in earning their high school diploma while enrolled at our campuses.

Many of our students come to us excited about training for a new career, but are missing one important piece—their high school diploma. With C4L, you don’t have to pause your goals. You can advance in your career program while completing your diploma simultaneously.

Does the program cost extra?

Nope! Milan Institute covers the cost of the C4L program for students enrolling in a Milan career program. That means you can focus on your training and your future, without worrying about additional tuition fees for your high school diploma.

Why do I need a diploma for my career program?

In many states, a high school diploma or GED is required before you can take your state license exams. By enrolling in C4L, you’re setting yourself up for success—not only in completing your Milan program but also in qualifying for the professional licenses you’ll need to start your new career.

Can I receive credit for the classes I have already taken?

Yes! Students are encouraged to bring in their high school transcripts so they can be reviewed. Some credits may be transferable, helping you complete your C4L coursework more quickly.

How does the program work for students?

Here are the key things you should know about C4L:

  • Students must complete all C4L coursework by the time they finish their Milan career program.

  • Progress is checked regularly through built-in checkpoints, which line up with your career program’s SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) benchmarks.

  • If a student leaves the Milan program before graduating, Milan Institute still encourages them to continue their adult education with C4L to finish their diploma.
