On Wednesday, October 16, the Milan Institute in Amarillo, Texas held a safety training in conjunction with the Amarillo Police Department. Code Red Procedures, also known as active shooter drill training, was presented to approximately 150 students and staff members.
“Corporal Carmela Ogden came out and gave a great training,” Campus Director Tori Palmer said. “I plan to host this event bi-annually,” Palmer said as she outlined additional information on her campus safety plan.
