Dominica Arrendondo

A graduate of the Medical Assisting program at Milan Institute in Amarillo, Dominica chose to return to school to build a better life for her kids and herself.

“My experience was great—I loved the teachers and the support everyone gave,” she shared. Despite moments of self-doubt, she reminded herself that doing her best was enough.

Now working at Amarillo Family Physician, she cherishes the laughter and memories made with classmates. Her goal is to grow as a Certified Medical Assistant and eventually pursue a career in nursing.

Her advice? “Never give up, it may be tough right now, but it will be worth it in the end. Always fight for what you want in life.”
