About the Council on Occupational Education (COE)
The Council on Occupational Education (COE) is a national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. COE accredits postsecondary career and technical institutions that offer vocational training and are evaluated as a whole, rather than focusing on individual programs. This institutional accreditation demonstrates that a school meets rigorous national standards for quality, integrity, and student success, including benchmarks such as graduation and job placement rates.
COE-accredited institutions include both private and public career colleges, Job Corps Centers, and select distance education programs. Today, COE has more than 500 member institutions, among them the White House Communications Agency and the United States Army Ordnance School. This prestigious accreditation underscores Milan Institute’s ongoing commitment to providing students with reliable, high-quality education that prepares them for real-world success.
