Career Services are available to all active students and graduates. The Career Services team at each Milan Institute campus offers assistance including professional development, resume creation, job development, job-search strategies and assistance in the job market, interviewing techniques, and referrals to community support services. We partner with local employers in the community to assist you with employment opportunities and interviewing when you graduate.

Omalicha Obi39 days ago07/30. Milan Institute Las Vegas is a family oriented institution despite how big it is the staffs are good in their individual departments. But the Career services Ms Zenelle, and My instructor Ms Shavonne Romero are the core engineer of Milan Institute Las Vegas. They don't prioritize Medical students. I took the Medical Assistant program and career services do not work with us in a timely manner or are prepared to get us through extern. When it comes to graduating students (my classmates of 5 that came in together) ...they don't accommodate us to walk in the cap and gown. It was a very disappointing feeling. We finish all these months of hard work just to not be recognized for it at the end.Posted on Yelp

Milan has an excellent career services department. The career service counselor I am working one-on-one with, is Jessica! Jessica has an amazing, positive, can-do attitude. Super genuine. Jessica was sharing with me that she can help me jump start my career after graduation. She will also continue to work me well past graduation, and will check in on me on occasion to see how I am doing in my field. She has even already started building a resume for me, which I have access to, and she has reached out to some employers even, on my behalf. It had been 6 months of trying to become a licensed Esthetician and with fail, that the lovely Susanne from career services finally got me to email her back. She has been such an amazing supporter in my life lifting me when I was down and pushing me passed what I thought I could do. Getting me into contact with the new Esthetician teacher Jessie. Who help me become over prepared for my final try at the test. And after almost a year I PASSED! Anna F.3112 days agoI just finished the Administrative medical assistant program In February 2018 with Mrs. Regina. I have nothing to say but wonderful things about the staff. I never thought I would go back to school at my age (28) with everything going on. - kids, fiancé at home ,life. Everybody was very supportive the whole nine months I was there. From the dean Mr. Alfonso, career services Mrs. Michelle, Mrs. Nancy, Mrs Isabelle, mrs kat, and lastly the most important one who was key to my success is mrs Regina. They believed in my although there where times I didn't and just wanted to give up. When I did I shed school I did not want to leave. I love the staff and broke my heart to do so. Helayna B.3154 days agoI remember very clearly when I started school here! I had taken two classes in one semester of college and decided I didn't want to go that route so I didn't go back to college and I worked full time. I put all my effort into working full time I hadn't thought about going back let alone where I would even go! When I walked into tour and register one day I had purple hair and had just shaved half my head, I was told that that would not slide and I would have to fix at least the color and let the rest grow back. So I agreed. I wanted this more than anything. Being in school isn't always easy and I'll admit it was stressful sometimes but in the end I always had the help and support to make it through. I want to thank all of my teachers and the staff directly Involved In my schooling for always encouraging and giving tips and advice but also teaching not only as a teacher but from a students perspedctive too, it shows that they really do undeerstand where we are and what we are going through. They want to help us achive our fullest goals. I had an unfortunate rough patch with my health towards the middle of the year but I couln't be anymore impressed with how the school handled it and worked with me to make sure everything got accomplished and all was right in the end. I never felt like I couldn't ask a teacher or even other staff for advice, everyone always had something helpful to say and were very welcoming. Thank you to all the MA Instructors for different views of teaching and different techniques of one thing. Learning one thing multiple ways is really nice because if needed you know and learn to adapt quicker and It can absolutely be a benefit. I will admit I did not get hired off of extern but I ended up moving out of state a week after I ifnished so it's pkay. I moved to Arizona and contacted my career services like I was told to do and she has still heloed me with my resume and looking for any possible jobs. I cantacted my SFS teacher for interview tips and he as well reached out to offer me help. Their help does not stop past the time you walk through that door and I couldn't love or appreaciate that more. My wonderful admissions rep stays in contact with me to make sure im still doing okay and If i need anything from her or the school. My career serrvices person, although I have already found a job, still requests i stay in touch once a week just so she knows im okay and all is going goood in case I need help. I remeber the first day I got hired at my current job, I was called in for a working interview and over the phone I was told chances are I would be offered the job by the end of the day. *Fast forward a couple weeks or less* I called my career services person letting her know I had been hired that I would be the only MA in the office with huge potential to move up to higher rankings. It felt amazing to have someone to share that day with who was already so involved in my schooling, for them to see where i had come now. *Fast forward about a full month* I again called my career services rep. Letting her know I had just received my first paycheck and I had no idea what to do but cry and feel so excited that I actually had a job in my field that I worked hard for. I've had a few rough days in the beginning and I've reached out to the staff closest to me for word of encouragement or how to handle things. I've always receive some sort of help or response in return no matter what it may be. I cant thank milan enough for always being there for me through the thick and thin and helping me achieve something I've wanted for so long when I didn't know where to go and all i did was work full time. Thank you to all the amazing teachers and staff who helped me along the way and taught me anything and everything. Lastly something I can never forget, all the wonderful friendships I made along the way, I still have friends there who are finishing their courses and still receiving such amazing care and guidance .
