Applying on the Web

To get started with determining your individual eligibility please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This form is available online starting January 1st of each year at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. To make the process even easier we can also assist you with the completion of the FAFSA in the Campus Financial Aid Office.

It is extremely important that the name registered with the Social Security Administration be the name used on all financial aid documents.

Please contact your local Campus Education Finance Advisor for additional information regarding your eligibility once you have completed the FAFSA. In order for the Campus to receive your information electronically you must enter the applicable school code. Please follow this link to review a list of our Milan Institute school codes.

This institution participates in the William D. Ford Direct Loan program. This program allows students/parents to receive loans directly from the Department of Education. If fully eligible, an Independent student can receive up to $3500 in Subsidized loan funds in the first academic year and a possible additional $6000 in Unsubsidized loan funds. Only one Master Promissory Note must be completed to participate in the Direct Loan program and it can be completed online at Completing a Master Promissory Note | Federal Student Aid.

In order for Stafford loans to be disbursed, Direct Loan Entrance Counseling must be completed by the student borrower. This process can be completed at studentloans.gov. The results will automatically route to the institution indicated by the student.
