Health Professions Scholarship

To be eligible for the Health Professions Scholarship, students must possess a High School Diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years of age. Recipients of the Health Professions Scholarship will be awarded $1000, which will be applied to the student ledger.

Eligible programs are available at the following campuses:

Administrative Medical Assistant: Amarillo
Dental Assistant: Palm Desert, Sparks, Visalia
Massage Therapy: Bakersfield, San Antonio Ingram, Sparks, Visalia
Medical Assisting: Amarillo, Las Vegas, Merced, Palm Desert

Health Professions Scholarship criteria:

  1. The scholarship application is accepted until December 31, 2025.
  2. Once approved, the Director will issue a scholarship award letter to the recipient.
  3. Upon enrollment, the Director will send the award letter to the Campus Education Finance Advisor.
  4. Students must maintain an accumulative attendance percentage of 75% and a cumulative GPA of 70% during their enrollment.
  5. The $1,000 scholarship is applied to the student ledger.
  6. Students awarded the scholarship who do not continuously meet the criteria or who fail to complete their program will be responsible for the entire tuition amount. These students will be set up on an approved payment plan option.

Our advisors will help you determine if you qualify for federal financial aid. They can also assist you by searching for available grants and loans. Our advisors will also provide you with an estimated cost of attendance so you can make an informed decision on which funding options work best for your budget.
