The Milan Institute Merced Campus hosted an open house on Wednesday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to noon. Over 30 members of the community took advantage of the event and toured the facility.
In addition to campus tours, all instructors were on site to provide demonstrations and answer questions about their field. Door prizes were also announced every 15 minutes.
Instructor Chyenne Rhodes lead the cosmetology demonstration with her cosmetology and advanced cosmetology students. They assisted future cosmetologists in adding hair tinsel. Instructor Kassidy Oliver was also available and ready to show them the art of shaving using creams and balloons.
Included in this year’s open house crowd were about a dozen local high school students. The team at Milan Institute Merced invites other local high schools to book tours or career days for those interested in the beauty and health fields.
Milan Institute Merced is currently enrolling students in all programs, including the upcoming manicurist course that begins on Monday, October 28.
