Milan Institute and MIlan Institute of Cosmetology are excited to congratulate this year’s Follow Your Dream scholarship recipients! The Follow Your Dream scholarship provides up to $2000 for selected high school students to pursue career training at Milan Institute. This year, over 30 high school students were chosen to receive Follow Your Dream scholarship awards! We are proud to be able to offer this amazing scholarship opportunity to our community’s high school students, opening the door to our career training programs for these local youth. What is the Follow Your Dream Scholarship?
Milan Institute offers the Follow Your Dream scholarship to high school students who want to pursue their education at Milan Institute or Milan Institute of Cosmetology. Scholarship awards are $2000 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place, $500 for 3rd place, and all other applicants receive $200.
What are the Requirements for the Follow Your Dream Scholarship?
To apply, you must be a current high school student,* at least 17 years of age. Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application. Applicants are also asked to write a 300-word essay describing why they are choosing their program of interest and what their career goals are. The essay is important because scholarships are awarded based on why you are passionate about the program of interest, as well as your academic achievements. Applications must be received on or before 12/18/23 and you must begin class by 12/31/23.
