Congratulations on reaching this important milestone-graduation from Milan Institute! As you celebrate your achievement, it’s also a great time to start thinking about your student loans and how to manage them confidently.

Right now, you’re in a grace period. This means you are not required to make any student loan payments for six months after your last day of attendance. This window gives you time to plan your next steps, whether that’s starting a new job, moving, or simply settling into your post-graduation routine.

During this grace period, take a few minutes to review your loan details. The best way to do this is by logging in to the Federal Student Aid website and selecting “Who’s My Student Loan Servicer?” on your dashboard. Here, you’ll see exactly how much you’ve borrowed and, most importantly, who your loan servicer is. Every student may have a different servicer, so it’s essential to check your information.

Once you know your servicer, visit their website to create your account. This will allow you to track your balance, explore repayment options, and set up automatic payments when you’re ready. Even though payments aren’t required yet, you have the option to start paying early. This can help reduce the total interest you’ll pay over the life of your loan.

Remember to log in to your Federal Student Aid account at least once a month, or whenever you update your contact information, to stay on top of your loans. Staying informed and proactive now will make repayment much smoother when your grace period ends.

Congratulations again, and best of luck in your next chapter!
